Here is the latest FarmVille Podcast as released today (29th March 2010). It was previously scheduled to be released on last Friday but was delayed due to unknown reasons:-

FarmVille Podcast Transcription - 29th March 2010
Here is the complete transcription of latest FarmVille Podcast released on 29th March 2010:-
"Hey Farmers and welcome to this week’s installment of the Official FarmVille Podcast! As per usual, my name is Lexilicious and I am in charge of all things community over here on the FarmVille team. This week, we will be discussing our latest releases, I will be answering some user submitted questions and you guys are all going to get a sneak peek of things coming to FarmVille in the near future.

FarmVille Recent Releases: This week proved to be another really exciting week for the FarmVille team that was jam packed with some great new features and releases.
Limited Edition French Chateau Themed Items: First and foremost, we continued to release more items from our Limited Edition French Chateau theme, including the new Museum, Restaurant and Pavillion that can all be purchased from the Market for varying amounts of Farm Cash.
FarmVille Winged Mystery Box: The new Mystery Wings Box made its debut this week, introducing some very special new winged animals to FarmVille. So far, this box appears to be a big hit with you guys so if you haven’t had a chance to get this new and improved Mystery box yet, make sure to grab one from the market before they disappear.
FarmVille Spring Themed Items: And as things start to warm up over here at the FarmVille offices, spring themed items are slowly starting to make their way into the market, starting with the new Chick – n – egg and the Egg Fence. Both of these items can be purchased for Farm Cash and coins from the Market for a limited amount of time.
FarmVille Spring Basket: We also released our first spring themed feature this week. The new Spring Basket allows you to collect Spring Eggs from your friends and redeem them for special items.
Now, this feature works almost exactly like the Valentine’s Day Box and the Pot of Gold so many of you may be familiar with how this event works. But for any of our new users who might be looking for some guidance, here are some quick tips to get you on your way.
Upon opening your giftbox you will find a Spring Basket waiting for you. After you place the Spring Basket on your Farm, you will be able to start collecting!
Now, in order to collect Spring Eggs, you’ll have to receive them from friends as gifts. Eggs can be sent to Neighbors via the free gifts page. One key difference to the Spring Basket is that you are able to find Eggs when fertilizing a Neighbors Farm. Clicking the ‘Ask for Eggs’ button will allow you to send a single Spring Egg to any of your friends (just like the Free Gifts page), and give them the chance to send you one in return. (Note: You can only Ask for or Send Love to 10 Neighbors every 24 hours.)
As stated in the message you receive when first opening the Spring Basket, new farmers that have been playing for 7 days or less can send out more Eggs at a time. New farmers can send three Spring Eggs to a single friend.
Upon receiving and accepting a Spring Egg it will appear in your gift box. Clicking "Use" will place the gift in your box automatically. As you collect gifts, each item you can unlock will be revealed as you collect the proper amount of gifts, and the "redeem" button will become available for each item. Clicking "Redeem" will award you the gift in return for the proper amount of Spring Eggs.
Every 5 Spring Eggs you collect, you’ll be able to post a Feed to your wall to alert your Friends of how well you’re doing and give them a chance to collect a free Spring Egg. 10 Neighbors will be able to collect one free Spring Egg when clicking on the feed within 24 hours.
For each notch on the meter of your Spring Egg progress bar, your basket will change appearance, overflowing with more and more gifts.
Clicking ‘Progress’ in the Spring Basket menu will show how many Spring Eggs you have in comparison to your friends. We all know that a little bit of healthy competition always makes things more fun, so make sure to keep track of your friend’s progress!
Now, before I get into answering some questions from the community, there is a quick change to Horse Stables that I want to fill you guys in on. Previously, the Pink Haired Ponies and the Brown Ponies would only produce brown foals when placed in the Horse Stable. As of March 25th, Brown Ponies and Pink Ponies will now produce Pony Foals when placed in the Horse Stable with a Stallion!
FarmVille User-Submitted Questions: I’m sure this will make all of our pony lovers out there very happy. Ok, so let’s go ahead and get into answering some questions from the FarmVille Community!
1) Our first question comes to us from Calyr Elf and they'd like to know if they'll be able to finish their La Maison building once the materials are no longer available in the market. Once the buildable La Maison has expired, you'll no longer be able to send out its building materials, and the frame will no longer be available for purchase in the Market. If you've got any gift requests for the La Maison building materials that haven't expired yet, you can still accept them before they do. If you still can't finish the La Maison in time, you'll be able to purchase the rest of the construction for Farm Cash in the same way you can purchase an incomplete Chicken Coop expansion. The base cost to finish will be 50 and each piece of the La Maison you have in place already will subtract 1 Farm Cash from the total. So if you've already collected 25 pieces, you'll be able to purchase the rest of the construction at a cost of 25 Farm Cash.
2) Ms Nee would like to know 'What are those floaters that appear when plowing? They look like golden potatoes.' This is a question a lot of our new users have, and to answer you, the coins are a random chance for players to win 100 coins while plowing, planting or harvesting. It happens completely randomly with any kind of crop. If you see the coin above your head, 100 additional coins should be added to your balance. You can find answers to questions like this in the New User Support section of our forums, specifically tailored to help our newer Farmers get their bearings.
3) Our last question comes from IILtdesq, and they actually have a question about a feature that was mentioned in my last podcast. They want to know that if you get a foal from your stable, does that mean you'll never be able to get another consumable? Just so it's crystal clear, finding a foal does NOT affect your future chances of find any consumables. It just means that you will not find any consumables at that time. The next time you collect from your stable, you still have a chance of finding consumables as well as producing a foal.
Remember Farmers, if you have a question that you would like answered by the FarmVille team, please make sure to visit the official farmville forums or www.farmville.com for more details.
FarmVille COMING SOON Segment: And for this week’s coming soon section, I actually have some more information for you guys about a feature I briefly discussed in last week’s podcast.
FarmVille Co-op Farming: I’m sure some of you may have seen our loading screen image teasing the new “Co-op Farming”. As I said in last week’s podcast, FarmVille will soon feature new jobs that you can complete with your friends. Folks in FarmVille will ask for help completing various farming jobs. You will be able to team up with your friends and Neighbors to tackle these jobs for various rewards. Each one of these jobs will have a timer. If you and your friends finish the mission before your time expires, you will earn a Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal upon completion, depending on how quick and efficient you all were. The Faster you finish, the better the medal. In addition to this, if you and your Neighbors are savvy enough to earn a Gold Medal, you will unlock a very special prize.
This new feature is sure to add a very exciting new aspect to a game we all love. Since you guys have gotten a good peek into the details of this feature, it would be greatly appreciated if you could provide us with some feedback. Please make sure to visit the Official FarmVille forums if you have an opinion about this upcoming feature that you would like to share with us.
FarmVille New Limited Edition Items: And lastly, we have some very cool new Limited Edition items heading your way in the coming weeks. In addition to a regularly scheduled Mystery Box, there will also be a very special April Fools Mystery Box available for a Limited Amount of time. And as mentioned last week, our Spring Themed Limited Edition items will be coming soon, including a Chocolate Cow, Egg Shaped houses and some very cute bunnies.
Alright Folks, that’s it from me this week! I will be back this coming Friday to give all of you your latest FarmVille news and updates. Again, my name is Lexilicious and I will see you guys soon! Happy Farming everybody."

FarmVille Podcast Transcription - 22nd March, 2010
Hey Farmers! Welcome to the Official FarmVille podcast! My name is Lexilicious, and I am the FarmVille Community Manager. This week, we are going to be going over some of our newest releases, I will be answering some User Submitted Questions about the FarmVille team and you guys are all going to get a sneak peek of things coming to FarmVille in the near future.

We’ve had a blast working on some exciting new features for you guys, including a very special one we’re sure you’ll love. But more on that later, for now let’s go over some highlights from last week.

Well last week, we had a lot of very cool (and some very unique) Limited Edition Items make their way to the Market, including a very special Invisible Cat, Long Eared Rabbit and Caterpillar. We also continued to roll out items for our French Chateau theme as well as a new “Best of” Mystery Box that can be purchased from the Market for 16 Farm Cash. This Best of Mystery Box features some of your favorite items from past mystery boxes, so make sure to grab one while you still can.

And probably the biggest feature this week also happened to be something that our community has been requesting for awhile.

New Stallions can now be found wandering around FarmVille that will allow you to get Foals from your Horse Stable! For those of you who might not be familiar with this feature, here are some quick details that will get you into the swing of things.

Periodically, you will receive a pop-up informing you that a “Wandering Stallion” has appeared on your farm. This pop-up will allow you to post a feed to your wall. Ten of your Neighbors can click on this feed to give shelter to the Wandering Stallion.

Unlike other “Lonely” animals, the Wandering Stallion is an event, and is NOT a permanent animal that can be kept on your Farm.

If you choose to give the Wandering Stallion shelter, he will automatically be placed into your Horse Stable. If you have a Wandering Stallion, you have a chance of receiving a Foal the next time you collect from your Stable.

If you already have a Wandering Stallion in your Horse Stable, you will not be able to get another. Clicking on multiple Wandering Stallion feeds from your Neighbors will not increase the chances of a Foal being born.

When a Foal is born, you will receive a pop-up informing you that your newborn is eager to explore the world. This pop-up will allow you to post a feed to your wall and five of your Neighbors can click this feed to receive a Foal.

The type of Foal you receive is determined by the types of horse in your Stable. This means that if you have a Stable Filled with Pinto Horses, you are much more likely to receive a Pinto Foal. One quick thing that you guys might not have known is that the Pink Pony, Brown Pony, High Kick Horse and Spectator Horse will produce a Brown Foal.

Once you harvest from your Stable and find a Foal, you will have to click on a new Wandering Stallion feed to have a chance of making another foal.

However, the Limited Edition “White Stallion” can be placed inside your Horse Stable and will act like a permanent Wandering Stallion. Each time you harvest from your Stable you will have a chance to find a Foal. If you receive a Foal, you will not get a consumable. This is important to remember if finding consumables is important to you. If you do not get a Foal when collecting from your Stable, you still have a chance of receiving an Arborist, Farm Hand or 100 XP.

Now remember Folks, your Baby Foals are more than just cute. Baby Foals can be brushed every 24 hours and cannot be placed inside your Horse Stable.

And as per usual, I want to invite all of you to come join me over on the FarmVille forums to give your thoughts and feedback about all of our latest features. Remember, the forums are a great place to connect with other enthusiastic Farmers as well as a good place to get the latest updates and information. A link to the FarmVille forums can be found in the description of this video and I look forward to seeing some of you soon!

I also received a very touching message from one of the members of our community today. I may not always get a chance to talk to all of you guys one on one, but I do take the time to read all of your emails and I always love hearing from you. Highdef2005 is a huge fan of our podcasts and shared his story with me about how FarmVille helped improve his life. Highdef, I just want to give you a quick shout out and thank you for your wonderful message and your loyalty to farmville. Players like you are the reason for our success and you rock. Everyone else, if you have a story about how FarmVille has made a difference in your life that you would like to share, we want to hear it. Emails and messages like the one from Highdef are what make our jobs wonderful.

Now, let’s go ahead and answer some questions that come straight from you, our community!

1. Our first question of the day comes to us from DragonsHeart, who'd like to know if the baby animals will ever grow up? Well DragonsHeart, you're certainly not alone in wondering if our baby animals will stay babies forever, as this is one of our most asked questions. The good news is that we are planning on a way for Farmers to have their calves and foals grow into full grown adults if they choose to. We're currently working out the details right now, but the tentative plan is to introduce the option sometime this Spring. Once we have a more concrete date in place and more information, we'll update you as soon as we can.

2. Our next question comes to us from Aunt Ornery, and she'd like to know if we can clear up the 'click issue'? For those of you wondering what exactly she means by this, there's been a rumor going on for some time now that Feeds for rewards like Collectibles, Mystery Eggs and others become inactive after you click the OK button on the on the reward page. In other words, supposedly once the OK button is clicked, no one else is able to collect from the Feed. We've made a few announcements about this on the Forums, but just to make things completely clear, this is just a rumor. Clicking the OK button DOES NOT keep other players from being able to use that person's feed. Each reward feed has a certain number of people that can collect from it before the reward's no longer available. For example, finished collection feeds allow Five neighbors to collect from them before they're no longer available. For more information on how many neighbors can collect from a feed, please visit the Game Updates section of the FarmVille forums. The guides there for each of our features have this, and other detailed information. Just to reiterate though, for once and for all, the OK button rumor is just that. A rumor.

3. And our last question comes to us from graziegirl, and she asks how many gifts can be held in the gift box? As you may or may not know, on our February 24th release, along with everything else that we added to FarmVille, we also increased how much can be held in each gift box, expanding it to hold 50 items in total.

If you have a question you would like answered in the weekly FarmVille Podcast, please come visit us on the Official FarmVille forums for more details.

Alright! On that note, let’s go ahead and get into this week’s coming soon segment! We actually have quite a bit of very cool stuff to talk about this week.

I know we have been teasing the new Pets feature quite a bit in the past few weeks and I am very happy to let you know that the awesome new dogs will be making an appearance in FarmVille very soon. I know how excited all of you have been about this feature, and I want to thank you for all of your thoughts and feedback in the past few weeks.

We also have a very unique themed animal mystery box coming soon that will feature only winged animals. This box will feature some very cool new animals, so make sure to grab one of them when they make an appearance in the market.

Spring is also well underway, so make sure to be on the lookout for some great new Spring themed features and items.

And last, but certainly not least, we have a new feature coming your way soon that is sure to get everyone excited. FarmVille will soon feature new challenges that you can complete with your friends for various rewards and maybe even a little bit of bragging rights.

And that’s about it from me this week Farmers! Again, my name is Lexi and I will see you guys soon! Happy Farming everybody.

FarmVille Puppy Images are out???

Share
Here are extracts from some of the pics as posted by users on FarmVille Official Forums
These images have been posted by FarmVille players who have come across them by chance as these FarmVille Puppies have not been released yet.
Similar to the case of Hot Rod Tractor in the past, these FarmVille Puppies show different price tags for each one of these, but sadly enough all these tags are in FV Farm Cash.

Another FarmVille Puppy in line to be released is a "Border Collie". and here is what it will look like.
In the words of FarmVille Community Manager Lexilicious:-
"Pets Teaser

A small percentage of our users will see the new Golden Retriever Puppy in the Market for varying prices. Some users will see the Puppy with a “coming soon” message below the icon in the Market.
Please know that this is nothing more than a teaser for our newest feature and clicking on this icon will not charge your account any Farm Cash, nor will you receive a Puppy. The prices that the Puppies will be when they are released are not yet finalized."
Will you buy these FarmVille Puppies for Farm Cash? Do you reckon any of these cute puppies will be purchasable for Coins as well?

Can you guess what will be the price of these puppies at the time of release?

How to Build a French Maison for Free?

Share
One of the most popular building "without a purpose" has been released lately. Its the beautiful and magnificent The Maison or La Maizon French Farmhouse. In its construction, it is another building similar to FarmVille Horse Stable. You are required to complete the Maison by getting 10 items of 5 different types.

The Maison Frame can be purchased from the FarmVille Market under the Buildings Tab for 5,000 Coins.

After buying and placing the Frame of the Maison on your farm, you will be prompted with a message letting you know that you can post a feed to ask you friends for help building your Maison

In order to complete your Maison, you’ll need to finish building it. Selecting "Look Inside" from your foundation’s menu will show you what you need to complete your Maison. When you first place the frame, you’ll have one Slate Tile inside it. In order to build a complete The Maison you’ll need 10 of each item. These items include Slate Tile, Paned Window, Aged Brick, Weathered Board and Clinging Vine.

You can get these items one of two ways:

  • Method 1: Your FarmVille Neighbors will be able to send you two of the five types of building components to help you complete your building.

The two components displayed on the Free Gifts Page are randomized. As such, the components displayed on the Free Gifts Page may be different for each user.

  • Method 2: You have the option to buy components required to build your Maison from the Market for 1 FV each.

When you reach half way or complete 25 items, you’ll receive a pop-up that will allow you to post a feed to your wall. The first 10 neighbors to click this feed will receive a random building component for their own Maison construction.

FarmVille has presently imposed a limit of building only 1 Maison per Farm, however you can buy more than one Maison building from the FarmVille Market. Each Maison Farm House costs 50 FV in the Market.
After you complete the building, your will be able to get a Provencal Pot II as a REWARD from your FarmVille Gift Box.

You can complete your "The Maison" French Farmhouse quickly by visiting the following post: How to complete "The Maison" building quickly if I am missing some components

New Comment Box in FarmVille - How to use it?

Share
Howdy Farmers!
Now you can communicate with your FarmVille Friends more conveniently. New Comments Box can be used to share feelings about your friends' farms and cows!
It also gives you a sneak peak into ongoing activity like who visited your farm and fertilized your crops, fed your chickens? Who sent you a gift? etc etc.
The complete usage guide for the New Comments Box will be updated soon.

As FarmVille Community Manager Lexilicious promised last week's podcast, the latest way of communicating with your FarmVille Friends has been released. Now you can keep up with your FarmVille Neighbors as well as other FarmVille Friends. When you visit your FarmVille Farm, you will be able to see a new icon in the top-right corner of the FarmVille Screen.

By clicking on this button, a new Comment Box will open for you.

The new Comment Box gives your neighbors' a liberty to leave comments for you. Plus, you can also leave comments on your own wall which can be viewed by any visitors visiting your farm.

When you click the icon and you are on your own farm, you will be able to view comments that your FarmVille Neighbors have left for you. Comments will fill in the comments section in the order they were placed. By clicking on the
“Visits” tab in your comment box, you will be able to see who has visited your farm, fertilized your crops, fed your chickens and sent gifts your way.

Whenever you receive a comment or post a comment on your own farm, Avatar bubbles will appear. The avatar bubbles resemble the user’s avatar that left the comment. Once an avatar bubble is clicked they will all disappear and the comments menu will open.
How does "Place a Sign Post" icon works?

From your Comments Menu you can also place a sign post. Simply type what you wish to post and check the “Place a signpost” box. Click the “post” button and you will be able to place a Sign.

FarmVille Podcast Transcription - March 12th, 2010

Hey Folks! Welcome to this week’s installment of the Official FarmVille Podcast! I’m sure by now that most of you know who I am, but for any new listeners stopping by; my name is Lexilicious and I am in charge of all things Community over here on the FarmVille team. As most of you know, we had a pretty crazy day today with our latest release. Because of that, today’s podcast will be a little shorter than normal. But never fear farmers, this week we will still be going to be going over our new releases, and you guys are all going to get a sneak peek of things coming to FarmVille in the near future.

So this week was pretty jam packed with new updates. First and foremost, we continued to release more Limited Edition St. Patrick’s day and French Chateau themed items. An awesome new St. Patrick’s day Themed Mystery Box also made an appearance on Tuesday along with three new Limited Edition Crops. The shamrock crop, the green hellebores and green roses can now be purchased from the Market for a limited amount of time.

As promised in last week’s podcast, we also introduced new ways for our users to communicate with their friends and neighbors. Upon signing into FarmVille, you will notice a new icon in the upper right hand corner of the application. Clicking on this button will open the new Comment Box.
The new Comment Box allows your Neighbors to leave you comments. In addition to this, you can leave comments on your own wall that you and your Neighbors can see.
If you click the Icon when you are on your own farm, you will be able to view comments that your Neighbors have left for you. Comments will fill in the comments section in the order they were placed. Clicking on the “Visits” tab in your comment box will allow you to see who has visited your farm, fertilized your crops, fed your chickens and sent gifts sent to you in your absence.
When you receive a comment or post a comment on your own farm, Avatar bubbles will appear. The avatar bubbles resemble the user’s avatar that left the comment. Once an avatar bubble is clicked they will all disappear, and the comments menu will open.
From your Comments Menu you can also place a sign post. Simply type what you wish to post and check the “Place a signpost” box. Click the “post” button and you will be able to place a Sign.
If you click the comments icon when visiting a Neighbor’s Farm, you have the option to leave a comment, place a Sign Post or Post a comment to their Facebook profile.
Our last big feature this week is something that seems to be very popular with our community. You can now build your very own decorative La Maizon building!
The Maison foundation can be purchased from the Buildings section of Market for 5,000 Coins.
Once you’ve placed the Foundation on your farm, you will be prompted with a message letting you know that you can post a feed to ask you friends for help building your Maison. Clicking the "Share" button will give you the option to post a feed to your wall asking your Neighbors for help.
In order to complete your Maison, you’ll need to finish building it. Selecting ‘Look Inside’ from your foundation’s menu will show you what you need to complete your Maison. When you first place the foundation, you’ll have one Slate Tile already. In order to build a complete La Maison you’ll need 10 of each item. You can get these items one of two ways:
Your Neighbors will be able to send you two of the five types of building components to help you complete your building.
The two components displayed on the Free Gifts Page are randomized. As such, the components displayed on the Free Gifts Page may be different for each user.
You can purchase components required to build your Maison from the Market for 1 Farm Cash per item.
When you reach 25 items, you’ll receive pop-up that will allow you to post a feed to your wall. The first ten neighbors to click this feed will receive a random building component for their own Maison construction.
You are only be able to have ONE buildable Maison on your Farm. Alternatively, you can have an infinite number of the Maisons if they are purchased with Farm Cash.
Since many of these features are quite significant changes to FarmVille, we would love to hear your feedback.
