Perhaps Zynga's FarmVille is becoming more and more miser, as instead of sending a larger gift they have started sending "Bottles" as gifts.

FarmVille Gifting Change with Deadline

After the recent change in the 2-week time limitation of the FarmVille gift Acceptance, there has been a change in the pending FarmVille Gifts as well. FarmVille requests received on Facebook Gift Requests Page has been updated. Now the gift shows a time deadline as well.

It has made it easier for the farmers to track their pending gifts and get them within stipulated time frame.

FarmVille Gifting Update - 19th March 2010

Minute changes have been made to the FarmVille Free Gifts Page. As described by FarmVille Community Manager Lexilicious in the Official FarmVille Forums, following changes have been made to the Free FarmVille Gifts:-

• The two building components for the Stable that are featured on the Free Gifts page will now change on a weekly basis.
• The two building components for the Maison that are featured on the Free Gifts page will now change on a weekly basis. (You can find the links to send different Giftable items for French Maison at "Links for sending French Maison Items to Friends")
• The Collectable Free Gifts that are featured on the Free Gifts page will now change on a daily basis. 

How to Build a French Maison for Free?

One of the most popular building "without a purpose" has been released lately. Its the beautiful and magnificent The Maison or La Maizon French Farmhouse. In its construction, it is another building similar to FarmVille Horse Stable. You are required to complete the Maison by getting 10 items of 5 different types.

The Maison Frame can be purchased from the FarmVille Market under the Buildings Tab for 5,000 Coins.

After buying and placing the Frame of the Maison on your farm, you will be prompted with a message letting you know that you can post a feed to ask you friends for help building your Maison. 

In order to complete your Maison, you’ll need to finish building it. Selecting "Look Inside" from your foundation’s menu will show you what you need to complete your Maison. When you first place the frame, you’ll have one Slate Tile inside it. In order to build a complete The Maison you’ll need 10 of each item. These items include Slate Tile, Paned Window, Aged Brick, Weathered Board and Clinging Vine.

You can get these items one of two ways:

• Method 1: Your FarmVille Neighbors will be able to send you two of the five types of building components to help you complete your building.

The two components displayed on the Free Gifts Page are randomized. As such, the components displayed on the Free Gifts Page may be different for each user.

• Method 2: You have the option to buy components required to build your Maison from the Market for 1 FV each.

When you reach half way or complete 25 items, you’ll receive a pop-up that will allow you to post a feed to your wall. The first 10 neighbors to click this feed will receive a random building component for their own Maison construction.

FarmVille has presently imposed a limit of building only 1 Maison per Farm, however you can buy more than one Maison building from the FarmVille Market. Each Maison Farm House costs 50 FV in the Market.

After you complete the building, your will be able to get a Provencal Pot II as a REWARD from your FarmVille Gift Box.

FarmVille Pot of Gold Released for St Patrick's Day

Similar to FarmVille Holiday Tree and FarmVille Valentine Box, the Zynga Gods have released a new version of collectible items - FarmVille Pot of Gold.

You can now collect Gold sent by friends and put it in your FarmVille Pot of Gold.

Your friends can send you gold pieces in celebration of St. Patrick's Day! You can also trade the Gold pieces you receive for limited edition St. Patrick's Day and Spring decorations!

The gold pieces can be found in the shape of Gold Nugget, Gold Coin, Gold Bar, Gold Bear and Gold Chain.

You can also send all the above mentioned Gold items as gifts to your friends.

The prizes for redeeming 10, 20 and 30 Gold Pieces are Shamrock Sheep, Spring Flower Cart and Leprechaun Gnome respectively. The remaining three prizes have not been released so far.

Hopefully these prizes will be released anytime before March 17, 2010 as it is the St. Patrick's Day.

FarmVille Energy Biscuit from World Food Program

As announced earlier, FarmVille has finally provided a Free Gift to all users for providing generous donations for Zynga's Haiti Relief Fund by buying FarmVille White Corn.
The reward for the farmers is an Energy Biscuit and it was released on 27 January 2010.

It is also said that when at least one of each (Although you can keep 10 of each at one time) of the items in a set are collected, then you will be able to Trade them In for a reward. The reward can be:

• 250 XPs
• 5,000 Coins
• (and/or) 5 Tanks of Fuel

FarmVille Cashew Tree: New Giftable Tree

FarmVille Cashew Tree is the latest addition in the FarmVille Gifts. It has replaced FarmVille Lemon Tree which has been removed from the gift list. Interestingly, the Cashew Tree shares 100% similar statistics with the removed Lemon Tree.
So, like Lemon Tree, FarmVille Cashew Tree can also be harvested after every 3 days and produces exactly the same number of coins i.e., 41 Coins.

FarmVille Cashew Tree is not available in FarmVille Market and the only way to lay your hands on them is by receiving them as gifts from your friends. It is only available in the game as a giftable item.

How to send Free Fuel to your friends at FarmVille?

At the auspacious occasion of FarmVille Free Fuel Week, FarmVille management has added a new feature and now you can send Free Fuel to your FarmVille Friends or FarmVille Neighbors. There are TWO different methods of sending Free fuel to your FarmVille Neighbors and here they are:-

• 1st Method to send Free fuel to your Friends at FarmVille.  You can simply go to FarmVille Gifts and you will find a gift as "1/5 Fuel Refill". Select the gift and send it to your friends as any other gift.
  

•  2nd Method to send Free fuel to your Friends at FarmVille.  You can find an icon on the top right corner of the screen as under:-

If you hover your mouse cursor over the icon, then you will see a message as follows:-

When you click on the icon, then you will receive a message:-

On clicking "SHARE", you will be asked to publish the feed item and the following pop up will appear:-

Simply click on "PUBLISH"and some of your friends will be able to get 1/5 of Fuel Refill from your side, by hitting "Get Free Fuel" in the similar method as mentioned in Method # 2 mentioned previously.
