How to Use the Search Feature in FarmVille Market?

Do you know that you can use a search feature to search for your favorite items in the FarmVille Market to find them easily and hassle-free.

Search functionality has been added to the Market and the Gift Box! Now if you need to find something in the Market or the Gift Box, you can just type it in and FarmVille will find it quickly!

As you can see, the Search box is now available in the upper right-hand portion of the Market window:

It’ll always show up there no matter what part of the Market you are currently in. Now just click on the white box, and you’ll see your cursor show up on the left side of the box. Type in something to search for, like “sheep” (you don’t have to press Enter):

As you start putting in letters FarmVille automatically sorts through and finds what you have selected, so you can see the choices narrow as you enter in more letters. When I finished typing “sheep” I came up four items:

So you can see searching in the Market is very simple. This functionality has also been added to the Gift Box, and it works very much the same way. Enjoy!

Best FarmVille Spring Basket Guide

Have you got the Spring Basket and added it to your farm BUT you are still not using it to the optimum, then here is the best FarmVille Spring Basket Guide brought to you by "Master FarmVille". It will give you detailed in-sight about getting the best out of your basket and make your spring a celebrated one!

It’s springtime! That means you’ve been collecting those Flowers from your Spring Gardens and your neighbors and you’re ready to redeem them for some cool new gifts, right? That’s good, because the Spring Basket is now here!

You’ll get your empty Spring Basket free the first time you play FarmVille after the update, where you will immediately be entered into Placement Mode. You can place the Spring Garden on your farm now, or you can choose to place it in your Gift Box for use later (by switching to the Multi-Tool for instance).

Once the Spring Basket is on the farm you can click on it, then select “Look Inside” to see this window:

The Spring Basket works like many of our other item-gathering style events in FarmVille. You acquire Flowers through various methods, then “Use” them from your Gift Box to place them in your Spring Basket. As you accumulate these Flowers in the Spring Basket you can redeem them for exclusive items.

You can acquire Flowers by:

• Harvesting your Spring Garden.
• Requesting Flowers from your neighbors directly (by clicking on the “Ask for More” button).
• Receive Flowers from a neighbor who uses the Free Gifts page (or click on “Send Flowers”).
• Purchase 5 Flowers at a time by clicking on the “Buy Flowers” button (for 5 Farm Cash).
• Click on a Spring Basket-related feed from a neighbor.
• Harvest a neighbor’s Spring Garden.

Here are the five different types of Flowers (note they all count as the same when you put them in the Spring Garden):

As you put the Flowers in your Spring Basket you’ll see the meter on the left fill up. The physical look of the basket also changes as you fill it with wonderful, blooming Flowers.

You can also click on the “Comparison” tab to compare how many Flowers you’ve accumulated with your neighbors.

To get one of the special exclusive prizes, simply click on the “Redeem”
button next to the prize you want—if you have enough Flowers (the available amount of Flowers that is redeemable is at the top of the window, “You have X available to use!”) you’ll be asked to confirm the purchase.

If you hit “Accept” the prize will be stored in your Gift Box and you can share an extra prize with your friends.

Note: Like the Pot of Gold, there will not be a second page of exclusive prizes added. These six items are all that will be available for this event.

FarmVille Halloween Costumes and Upgraded Character Guide

Howdy Farmers!
FarmVille has now given you the ability to do more with your Farmer in the game. Now you can use many new types of clothing including shirts, trousers, shoes and other accessories. You can even dress him up for the upcoming Halloween tastefully! 

Q: Where can I find the Clothing items and Halloween Costumes?A: When you visit your inventory, you can find some basic clothing items already waiting for you. More clothes and FarmVille Halloween costumes can be purchased from the market. 


Q:Can I see a preview before purchasing a costume?
A: The best thing is that you can take a preview as to how your farmer will look like in any particular piece of clothing before releasing the payment for it.


Q: Are there any requirements for buying FarmVille Costumes?
A: You only need to be a Level 4 farmer at least!!!

Q: How to get to the Revised Character Customization Window?

A: You can visit the Character Customization window at any time by simply clicking on your character on the Farm. FarmVille Team has also added a little reminder icon on the left side of the screen like the one shown here. The window itself has been re-arranged and revised to reflect the addition of Clothing:

Q: What are the new changes in this Window?

A: The Gender button lets you change your gender as usual. Once you move your mouse over the Facial Features or Clothing buttons, a pull-down menu will appear with all of the different categories for each:

Q: Are there any changes in the Facial Features Section?

A: No! This section works much the same as before. You can enjoy the liberty of changing your face type, hair, eyes, eyebrows, nose, ears, mouth, skin tone and facial hair types in many different ways, and ALL FOR FREE. 

Q: What are the new additions in Clothing Section?
A: The Clothing section is split into two halves: what you have currently in your inventory (which does not count against Gift Box or storage space) for each Clothing category, and what’s available for purchase. Remember that what’s available for purchase also depends on your Gender.

You have a few clothing options already provided in your inventory for each category. Just click on the Use button to change clothes on your character (which you can see on the right). To acquire new clothing you can easily check to see what’s available for that clothing category (use the right and left arrows to scroll through the selections if there are more than three). Most categories have a selection of both coin and Farm Cash items:

Q: How can I see a preview of new Clothing items on my Avatar?

A: If you want to see how it looks on your character, click the “Try On” label. If you just want to buy it outright, go ahead and click on the “Buy” button. Make sure you double-check what you’re doing—you don’t want to accidentally buy something you’re merely trying on.

When you’re trying on new clothes the “Purchase Total” counter on the bottom right shows the total accumulated cost of new clothes you’re “trying” out. You can only try out one piece of clothing per category at a time, so you can’t have five bottoms tallied up, for instance. However, you can have one bottom, one shirt, one shoe, one accessory, etc. selected at any one time. Moving your mouse cursor over “Purchase Total” will also show an itemized total of what you’ve selected:

If you want to purchase all that, just click on the “Buy Now” button and everything will be bought. If you don’t, click on the “Reset” button and everything will be returned back to the market (your clothing will return to the state you were in before you starting trying on clothes).

If you’re just changing your clothes around, the changes won’t take until you click on “Save and Close” at the bottom of the window.

Q: What features have been upgraded to Outfits and Costumes?

A: Outfits and Costumes are essentially one-off clothing choices—when you put it on you wear the whole thing, with the exception that you can change your shoes with an Outfit, but not with a Costume. Typically Costumes will also be tied to Limited Edition sets or themes and only available for a certain period (but not always). Here are some Costumes available for Halloween:

Q: What Changes have been made in FarmVille Market to accomodate these changes?

A: You don’t have to go into the Character Customization window to buy new clothes—they’re all available in the Market. We’ve added a new Clothes tab in the Market at the far right. Click on that, and you can see all of the Clothing categories and purchase options. If click on the “Try it on?” label you will be transported to the Character Customization window.

Q: Can I get a New Ribbon for Buying new Clothing items?

A: Yes! A brand new "Style Maven" Ribbon has been added to the list of ribbons. You can easily earn it. For details please visit "FarmVille Style Maven Ribbon"

FarmVille Halloween Candy Basket Guide

The wait is finally over and Halloween Candy Baskets are now available! With these Baskets you can redeem your accumulated Candy for special Halloween items unavailable anywhere else. Plus, if you still don’t have enough, you can still get more!

If you’ve seen our other collection baskets before (like the recent Haiti backpack) this one works very much the same way. Put the Halloween Candy in the basket, and you can then redeem the Candy for one of six cool new Halloween-themed items. Be sure to use your Candy now, because they could be going away soon after Halloween. 

Using your Candy Basket

You’ll get your Candy Basket the next time you launch FarmVille after the update, and you’ll be put right into Placement Mode (alternatively you can also buy it in the Market). Once you’ve placed the Candy Basket on your farm, click on it, then select “Look Inside” to open up the Candy Basket Window.

Here you can see how much Candy you’ve placed in the Basket (at first there won’t be any because you have to put them in the Basket from the Gift Box), the prizes you’ve unlocked and how much Candy you’ll need to redeem for them, the option to Buy additional Candy or ask friends for more, and a button to the Comparison window.

Once you start putting Candy in the Basket, the meter on the left will grow. Total Candy indicates how much Candy you’ve put in all together, while Candy Available shows how much you have left to spend. Click on the green “Redeem” button on each item you wish to purchase (assuming you have enough Candy, if you don’t the button will be greyed out). All purchased items will go straight into the Gift Box—and you’ll get the option to share an extra one with your friends!

The Candy Basket on the farm will also grow in size depending on how much Total Candy you’ve accumulated. Here are the sizes and the titles that go with them:

If you didn’t manage to collect enough Candy, don’t fret. You can still get more by visiting your own or neighbors’ Haunted Houses. In addition, you can use the “Ask For Candy” button in the Candy Basket window to ask your friends for more, or the “Buy Candy” button which will confirm that you want to spend 5 Farm Cash for 5 pieces of Candy. Finally you can give your friends and neighbors Candy with the Free Gifts button and finding the Candy option:

Finally, the Comparison button will show you how your ability to accumulate Candy compares with all your neighbors.

How to send Free Fuel to your friends at FarmVille?

At the auspacious occasion of FarmVille Free Fuel Week, FarmVille management has added a new feature and now you can send Free Fuel to your FarmVille Friends or FarmVille Neighbors. There are TWO different methods of sending Free fuel to your FarmVille Neighbors and here they are:-

• 1st Method to send Free fuel to your Friends at FarmVille.  You can simply go to FarmVille Gifts and you will find a gift as "1/5 Fuel Refill". Select the gift and send it to your friends as any other gift.
  

•  2nd Method to send Free fuel to your Friends at FarmVille.  You can find an icon on the top right corner of the screen as under:-

If you hover your mouse cursor over the icon, then you will see a message as follows:-

When you click on the icon, then you will receive a message:-

On clicking "SHARE", you will be asked to publish the feed item and the following pop up will appear:-

Simply click on "PUBLISH"and some of your friends will be able to get 1/5 of Fuel Refill from your side, by hitting "Get Free Fuel" in the similar method as mentioned in Method # 2 mentioned previously.

• White Ribbon: Plowing 1000 Fields give you 2500 Coins & 100 XP

See how Peas give 4 XPs per day

After reaching Level 32, I just came to know that "Peas" is the first Farmville Crop which gives 4 XPs every day for plowing (1 XP) and harvesting (3 XPs). Levelling up seems easier at least. Apart from it, Peas cost 190 coins per field for planting and give 381 coins on harvesting. I love Peas!

Farmville Turtle Warning: Do Not Move Your Turtles

Dear Farmers!

Beware: Your Turtles DO NOT like to be moved quickly from one place to another.

After all he did not get lost during the race for nothing. He is too lazy, lethargic and sluggish and does not like movement a lot.

It is a glitch in the system and the turtle disappears sometimes when you move it from one place to another. Farmville staff is working to get the problem eradicated.

Tip: For now all you can do is to select a nice place for your turtle while placing him on the farm and then leave him there. Dare not move the Turtle!!!

By the way, Turtle harvests after every 3 days to lay Turtle Eggs and gives 86 Coins.

Farmville Flying Potato or Gold Coin: Have you ever observed?

Farmville farmers are sowing seeds below the ground but they are also seeing Potatoes flying around. When you plow, plant or harvest, sometimes you see a flying potato which jumps out of the ground and then gets absorbed by it. I know that you have tried a number of times to catch it or click on it because I have myself done it ..... Lolz.

So here is the little Farmville Secret:

• It is a flying/ flipping Gold Coin and not a POTATO :-p
• It is totally random and can show its face anytime while you plow, plant or harvest.
• Each time the gold coin jumps in the air , it gives you 100 coins in your vault.
• It can flip with any kind of crop.
• There is absolutely no need to run after the coin, try to catch it or stand under the coin to be blessed. Just relax and you will get what will be in your destiny ;)
  

Farmville Much-Awaited Dairy Farms have been Launched

Much-Awaited Farmville Dairy Farms have been launched and now we have a building on our farm which has some purpose.
What is a Dairy Farm?
You can put 20 space-covering cows inside the Dairy Farm and enjoy various benefits. Cows of any color, caste or family background can be placed inside it.
How to get a Dairy Farm?
There are two ways to get a Dairy Farm for your place, which are:-

• Buying for Coins. You can buy a Farmville Dairy Farm from the Buildings Section of the Market for 10,000 coins. There is one limitation for this though that you must have at least 8 neighbors to perform this action.
• Buying for FV Cash.  You can also buy it for 20 FV Cash from the Market. Anyone with sufficient cash can do this. :)

Dairy Farm gives 100 XPs and if sold it can give 500 coins.

Benefits of farmville Dairy Farms
You can enjoy following benefits from a Farmville Dairy Farm:-

• You can save space by putting 20 cows inside one building which covers the space of 8 cows only.
• The biggest benefit is that you can milk 20 cows with a single click when Dairy Farm is ready for harvesting.
• It counts towards the Farmville Architect Ribbon.
  
• It is one of the most beautiful buildings on the farm
• It adds beauty to the farm and makes it tidy.
• It is not very costly. 10,000 Coins is hardly any money at Farmville

How to use the Dairy Farm?

• First you need to put the cows inside the dairy farm. To do this click on the cow and select "MOVE" from the drop down menu.
• Move your cow to the Dairy Farm, it will light up - Just click on the Dairy Farm Building to house the cow inside.
• If there are 20 cows in the building then on harvesting it will give you the sum of all the cows, (that is, 20 cows x 6 coins for milking = 120 Coins).
• To remove a cow from the building, you can click on the farm building and select "Remove Cows".
  
• You can only have 5 Dairy Farms at one time on your farm.

Top Tip/Trick for Dairy Farm:
The tip of the day for the Dairy Farm is that the first cow which you place in the Dairy Farm Building determines the level of current harvesting of the dairy farm which means that if the first cow you place is 90% ready for milking then your Dairy Farm will be 90% ready, even if the remaining cows are 10% or 20% ready. So the first cow which you should put inside the Dairy Farm should be the one which is about to be 100% ready.
