What are FarmVille Super Crops? How they work?

Share

Howdy Farmers! FV has released yet another awesome feature by raising the curtain off FarmVille Super Crops.

What are Super Crops?
Now you can grow your crops to super sizes and the best thing is that they will help you in earning more coins, XPs and Bushels! On mastering the Super Crops, you’ll also receive a gold plated mastery sign for your achievement. Wow! Gold-plated was something missing in FV so far.

How to Get Super Crops Feature?
You will automatically see the following pop-up, when you login to your farm. By clicking the “Unlock now” button,  you will be taken to the “Seeds” section of the FV Market.
How many Super Crops are there?
Not all the crops are Super crops at the moment. Only nine new Super Crops can be found in the Market which can be distinguished by their Golden border card and  the “Super” title at the beginning of their name.

Following nine new Super Crops are available at this time:-

  • Super Cotton
  • Super Pumpkin (Different from the Super Pumpkins from the last year's fan event)
  • Super Yellow Mellon
  • Super Grape
  • Super Watermelon
  • Super Pepper
  • Super Strawberry
  • Super Pink Aster
  • Super Cranberry

Are the Super Crops Readily Available in Market?
No! In order to unlock a super crop, you must first fully master the basic version of the crop. For example, if you wish to plant Super Strawberries, then you must first master 3-level mastery for Strawberries Crop. Without mastering the basic version of the crop, you can not plant a Super Crop and you will see the following screen when clicking on the “Unlock” button:
After mastering the basic version of the crop, the Super crop will be UNLOCKED, but before this you have to complete another step as well. When you click the “Unlock” button on a Super Crop you have mastered, you will see the following screen:
The Super Crop will be available for planting as soon as 6 of your friends certify. You can also pay Farm Cash and get Super Crop immediately by paying some valuable Farm Cash, but I know most of you will prefer to get help from friends. After all, friends are meant to be helping :)

After unlocking your Super crop, you can immediately start planting it. After mastering all 3 levels of a Super Crop, you will be rewarded with a Gold-plated Mastery Sign as below:
Each time you achieve a mastery level, you will also be able to share packages of Super Crop seeds with your Neighbors for a limited time (7 Days). These seeds will allow your Neighbors to temporarily plant the Super Crop you have mastered, even if they would not otherwise have access to the crop. These seed packets can be found on the Free Gifts page and can be sent to any of your Neighbors.
If you receive a seed package from a friend, keep in mind that the crops still have their original level lock (for example, if strawberries normally unlock at level 20, you would not be able to use the Super Strawberry Seeds unless you were level 20 or above).

Each package you receive contains 20 seeds (this means you can plant a total of 20 super crops for each package of seeds you receive from a friend.)
In addition to the seed packages, you will also receive a one-time coin and XP bonus for each level of mastery you attain for a Super Crop. The rewards are as follows:

  • Super Mastery Level 1 - 1000 Coins and 50 XP
  • Super Mastery Level 2 - 3000 Coins and 150 XP
  • Super Mastery Level 3 – 10,000 Coins and 500 XP

As mentioned earlier in this guide, Super Crops will earn you additional coins, XP and Bushels when planted. Please find the information for each of these crops in the table below:

Each time you find a bushel from a Super Crop, you will be granted 4 instead of the usual 1. Please note that Super Crops only grant bushels for the basic version of the crop. This means that if I harvest Super Strawberries and find a bushel, it will be a normal Strawberry bushel, not a Super Strawberry Bushel. Because of this, you cannot use bushels on Super Crops to gain a Mastery Bonus.

If you need to know anything more, please leave a comment below and I will reply as soon as possible.

FV Turbo Charger Guide: How Turbo Charger Works? Is it Useful?

Share
Howdy friends! FarmVille has released yet another consumable like arborists to harvest trees and Farmhands to harvest animals. This new product is called a "Turbo Charger".

What can a Turbo Charger do?
A Turbo Charger can help you in farming your farm with a single click. They enable you to farm an entire field of plots or crops with one click; however if you use a Combine vehicle, then it will use 3 Turbo chargers - one for every action - plowing, planting and harvesting.

Where can I Find FV Turbo Chargers?
Its the most common question in FarmVille community these days, but unfortunately the turbo chargers are available in the FarmVille Market only. I wonder who will purchase a 3 x Turbo Chargers for 7 Farm Cash.

You can go to Market and find the turbo charger packs in "Farm Aides" under the "Fuel" Tab. You can purchase turbo charger packs as under:-

3 Turbo Chargers – 7 Farm Cash
15 Turbo Chargers – 28 Farm Cash
60 Turbo Chargers – 65 Farm Cash

Will the Turbo Chargers Appear in my Gift Box when I purchase them?

After purchasing Turbo Chargers, they will not appear in your gift box. They will appear in the left bottom corner of your game screen as soon as you select the vehicle to be used (Tractor, Seeder, Harvester or Combine). They will appear as a bar above your fuel section and shows the number of turbo chargers available too.

How to Use a Turbo Charger?
In order to utilize a Turbo Charger, you must tick or check the box shown on the Turbo charger bar.

After checking the box, you can hover the mouse cursor over the desired plot. The Turbo Charger will automatically select all applicable plots on your farm. Point to be noted is that, while using a Turbo Charger, you will still be deducted the appropriate amount of fuel for each action. It means that if you use a Turbo Charger to plow 20 plots, you would be deducted 20 units of fuel.

Useful Information:

You will be charged multiple turbo chargers while using a Combine vehicle. One turbo charger will be charged for every action, which means that one turbo charger each will be consumed for Plowing, planting and harvesting. So in total 3 turbo chargers will be used alongwith the appropriate units of fuel.

FarmVille Silo Guide - How To Use Crafting Silo?

Share
Crafting was introduced in FarmVille quite some time ago but there were a number of issues slowing down the process and teasing the players. The developers have been informed about the issues multiple times and finally they have come up with a solution.
FarmVille Crafting has become much easier and quicker with this new update. All you have to do is to build a crafting silo in 3 steps.
You can find crafting ingredients while harvesting trees and animals and store them inside your Silo. Then you can use these crafting ingredients for crafting.
Find Crafting Ingredients
Find crafting ingredients every time you harvest cows, sheep, pigs, apple trees, lemon trees, walnut trees and maple trees. Harvest more to increase your chances!

Crafting Store Ingredients
Your crafted silo comes with a limited amount of storage space of 10, but you can expand your silo to increase its capacity up to 50. Remember that you can build your silos on both you Home Farm and your English Countryside Farm, which means you can get up to 100 storage!

Ask For Help
You can also ask your friends for help in sending missing crafting ingredients after every four hours.

Using Crafting Ingredients
You can use crafting ingredients to make things in the Craftshop and get Mastery signs when you do.

WHAT'S INSIDE THE SILO?
By clicking on the Silo give you the option to:
  • Complete Now
  • Look Inside
  • Move
  • Sell
In your inventory, you can buy, share and ask for crafting items.
How To Expand Your Silo?
You can collect building parts by harvesting, asking your friends or purchasing them.
  • 10 Tin Sheets
  • 10 Hinges
  • 10 Screwdrivers

You can also gift Silo Parts to your friends anytime you want from the Gift Page!
Keep playing and your FarmVille Crafting Silo will be ready in no time!

FarmVille Royal Wedding Guide with Pictures

Share
The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton has become a Universal Phobia, and Zynga is not stopping either. FarmVille is also celebrating the Royal Wedding of Prince Williams and Kate Middleton. While you can read the Official FarmVille Royal Wedding guide below, here are some of the photos of the Real Royal Wedding:-

You can also view some of the memorabilia issued to commemorate the Royal Wedding of William and Kate from different countries, states and territories around the globe:-

Here is the Official FarmVille Royal Wedding Guide for all you FV fans:-

The Royal Wedding Guide at FarmVille
The Royal couple is visiting FarmVille, so now’s the time to get your party set up before their arrival! The more people that show up to the party, the cooler the prizes you get to unlock!

The Royal Welcome Party works a lot like the New Years Party Barn. You’ll get the Welcome Tent the first time you play FarmVille after the update, and you will immediately be entered into Placement Mode. You can place the Welcome Tent on your farm now, or you can choose to place it in your Gift Box for use later (by switching to the Multi-Tool for instance).

Once the Welcome Tent is on the farm you can click on it, then select “Go to Party!” to see this window:

You can see the red carpet floor inside the tent where the Avatars of your guests will show up, and the list of prizes on the right. As you gather guests, each of the prizes will unlock and either show up in your Gift Box or become available in the Market (Note: the gift may not show up in the Gift Box until you refresh the game).

To invite guests, simply click on the green “Invite Friends” button at the bottom of the Royal Welcome Party window. You’ll see the standard list of friends you can send invites to. As they accept, you can see their avatars appear inside the tent. You may need to refresh if a whole bunch of friends show up during your gameplay session.

You also have the option of foregoing inviting some if not all of your friends to pick up the special prizes by paying Farm Cash. Simply click on the “Unlock” button next to the prize to unlock that prize (and all the prizes underneath that prize). You’ll be asked to confirm if you want to spend that amount of Farm Cash.

And that’s all there is to it! The Royal couple will show up on May 12, and after that date you won’t be able to invite any more guests or unlock prizes (the Wedding Tent will also be storable at that time).

FarmVille Podcast - 25 Apr 2011

FarmVille Podcast - April 25th!

Hey Farmers and welcome to this week’s installment of the Official FarmVille Podcast! My name is Lexilicious and I am here to bring you all of the latest news and information about FarmVille from Zynga. This week we’ll be talking about the recent revisions made to the Gift Box and Marketplace, including the ability to sell multiple items at once and the addition of the new “Search” feature. We’ll also talk about the Pig Pen revamp, the refreshed truffle hunting feature, and we’ll also have a sneak peak of what’s coming up in FarmVille.

Many of you have already been taking advantage of the most recent additions to the Gift Box and Marketplace but for those of you who have not yet discovered the joy of the new Search Function or the ability to sort your gift box by category, here is a quick explanation of our latest release.
In a nutshell, the Gift Box has been revised to make it a much more friendly experience! Items in the Gift Box can now be sorted into categories and the interface is faster than ever before. The base functionality of the gift box remains the same, but you can click on the different Filters to sort everything by that item type. To easily look through the contents of the Gift Box, just click on the arrow on the right or left, which will flip through the pages of your inventory.

The new Gift Box also has Search functionality, which you can see in the upper right-hand portion of the Gift Box window. Simply click on the white box then type in what you want to search for. Finally, if you need to clear out some stuff from your Gift Box, we’ve eliminated the need to keep clicking Sell if you have a ton of one item. Now if you have more than one of the same item and click Sell, you can use the up and down arrows to determine how many of these items you want to sell all at once. You can also enter in a number by clicking on the “1” and putting in whatever number you want to sell.

Search functionality has also been added to the Marketplace, and it works very much the same way as the gift box. Now if you need to find something in the Market, you can just type it in and FarmVille will find it quickly!
As you can see, the Search box is available in the upper right-hand portion of the Market window. It’ll always show up there no matter what part of the Market you are currently in. click on the white box, and type in something to search for.

As you start putting in letters FarmVille automatically sorts through and finds what you have selected, so you can see the choices narrow as you enter in more letters.

As of Friday night, we have also made some big changes to Pig Pens and Truffle Hunting. Previously, Pig Pens were great storage for your little four legged friends and they allowed you to hunt for Truffles. However, our latest release has introduced the long awaited Pig Breeding feature! You can start making new piglets immediately if you have a Pig Pen on either your Home Farm or your English Countryside farm. If you don’t have a Pig Pen, don’t worry! We’ll give you another one for free.If you have one already built, you’ll get a free boar as a prize.

Now, breeding new pigs is a lot like breeding new sheep. Click on your completed Pig Pen, and then choose “Look Inside” to see the new Pig Pen interface. If your Pig Pen is empty, you’ll need a boar and a pig to start breeding, the result of which is a piglet, which once fully grown will take on some of the characteristics of the parents, such as colors and perhaps the patterns. More than likely there will be some variation in the colors, depending on the colors of the parents. The pattern can only be inherited from the boar, but if both parents have the same pattern, the chance of pattern inheritance is much higher.

Now let's start breeding. Click on the boar you want to breed with and select the option to breed. Once you have done this, the pigs you can breed with the boar will be highlighted in the Pig Pen interface. Click on the pig you want to breed with and you’ll see the Breeding window. Breeding a new pig is a 24 hour process with a 50% success rate. This means that if you’re not successful, you will have to start all over again. However, you can improve your chance of success (and decrease the amount of time it takes to breed) by using Love Potions. The more love potions you use, the higher your success rate will be. You can acquire Love Potions from your Neighbors or by purchasing them with Farm Cash.

You can use the up and down arrows to choose how many Love Potions you want to spend. If you don’t have enough, you’ll be prompted to buy more. When you’re satisfied with your chances, select the option to breed. The stall at the upper left will become occupied and their places in the Pig Pen pasture will be replaced with helpful signs. If there’s a timer, a clock in the stall will show how much time is left to go. Now, with any luck, you’ve bred a new piglet! You can choose to name your piglet, choose to Give it Away or you can keep it.

Once placed on your farm, a piglet can be fully grown using 10 Baby Bottles. You can acquire Baby Bottles from the your neighbors, the free gifts page, or from the Market for Farm Cash. Once you’ve applied 10 Bottles the piglet will grow into an adult boar or pig.

Currently boars only come in two different patterns; plain and spotted. As noted above, the colors available for pig breeding is a somewhat random process, based on the colors and patterns of the parents used. Each color a parent possesses has a certain color range that can be applied to the Pig in question, so you never really know what you’re going to get.

And as with Sheep Pens, there is a limit as to how many bred boars and pigs you can have on each farm at any one time. The limit is 100, which includes all bred pigs on that particular farm, in that farm’s Pig Pen, and in the Gift Box. This is per farm, so you can have up to 100 for each the Home Farm and the English Countryside farm.

We’ve also streamlined the way truffle hunting works, and we’ve revised the rewards you get for redeeming truffles! With the addition of breeding, Pig Slop has been removed from FarmVille. If you still have some in your Gift Box or elsewhere, go ahead and get rid of it. Going forward, when you click to harvest your Pig Pen, you’ll start your only truffle hunt of the day. The pig chosen to hunt with is completely random, as is the neighbor’s farm you can find the truffle on.

If you find a truffle, you’ll see a pop up prompting you to share the truffle with that neighbor. Clicking Share will ask you to make a post to their wall, informing them of your discovery. They can then respond by returning the same type of truffle to you by posting on your wall.

Again, this will be the only truffle hunt of the day; once your Pig Pen is ready to be harvested again, you can try for another truffle hunt. The prizes for redeeming a truffle have been heavily revised. You can get building parts, bottles, love potions, and all sorts of other treats (including other animals) by redeeming truffles now.

Finally, Pig Pens now visually show which pigs you have in it, similar to Sheep Pens. The pigs you put in last show up in each of the 3 stalls as well as the mud yard in front of the pen.

Now, we know that the introduction of a new animal to breed has sparked some concern that there will be an insufficient amount of Love Potions to go around for both sheep and pigs. That’s why, for a limited time, all farmers will be able to craft love potions in their Pubs. In addition to this, you will also be able to craft bricks in your bakeries, wooden boards in your spas, and nails in your winery.

On that note, let’s go ahead and get into the coming soon segment of this week’s podcast. First up, we have an addition coming in the near future that many of our players will be excited to see. Soon, your Chicken Coop, Dairy Barn, Pig Pen, Turkey Roost, Duck Pond and Animal Trough will be rotatable, like many of the other buildings in the game.

And lastly, we are also planning on increasing the Bushel Limit for all of our farmers. Soon, you will be able to store an additional 25 bushels for every additional stall you have on your farm after your first.

Alright folks, that’s it from me this week. Again, my name is Lexilicious and I will be back on May 6th to bring you all of the latest news and information about FarmVille from Zynga!

Happy Farming Everybody!

How to Use the Search Feature in FarmVille Market?

Share
Do you know that you can use a search feature to search for your favorite items in the FarmVille Market to find them easily and hassle-free.

Search functionality has been added to the Market and the Gift Box! Now if you need to find something in the Market or the Gift Box, you can just type it in and FarmVille will find it quickly!

As you can see, the Search box is now available in the upper right-hand portion of the Market window:

It’ll always show up there no matter what part of the Market you are currently in. Now just click on the white box, and you’ll see your cursor show up on the left side of the box. Type in something to search for, like “sheep” (you don’t have to press Enter):

As you start putting in letters FarmVille automatically sorts through and finds what you have selected, so you can see the choices narrow as you enter in more letters. When I finished typing “sheep” I came up four items:

So you can see searching in the Market is very simple. This functionality has also been added to the Gift Box, and it works very much the same way. Enjoy!

3-Step FV Guide to use Building Parts from Gift Box Using New Method

Here is another QUICK FV GUIDE to teach you the new method of using the building parts from your Gift Box. All you have to do is to follow the 3 simple steps mentioned below:-

  • Open your Gift Box and select a part to use
  • Click on highlighted buildings to use them, while keeping an eye on how many are left
  • To cancel the adding cursor, simply click on the Multi Tool icon in the game tool bar

Official Guide.  We’re excited to announce a new way to add common parts to buildings and apply them to objects/animals like seedlings and lambs. Now you can add these items from your gift box simply by clicking on what accepts them.

Clicking through individual parts in your Gift Box is now a thing of the past!

Using the New Part Adding Method:

Open your Gift Box and select a part to use:

Your mouse cursor will now change to show the part you’ve selected, along with the amount you have in your Gift Box to use. Any building/animal/item that can accept the part will be highlighted blue, while those that cannot will remain unmarked as seen below:

Clicking on an object to accept a part changes the number of parts available on your mouse cursor to keep track of what you use easily:

To cancel the adding cursor, simply click on the Multi Tool icon in the game tool bar:

Best FarmVille Spring Basket Guide

Share
Have you got the Spring Basket and added it to your farm BUT you are still not using it to the optimum, then here is the best FarmVille Spring Basket Guide brought to you by "Master FarmVille". It will give you detailed in-sight about getting the best out of your basket and make your spring a celebrated one!

It’s springtime! That means you’ve been collecting those Flowers from your Spring Gardens and your neighbors and you’re ready to redeem them for some cool new gifts, right? That’s good, because the Spring Basket is now here!

You’ll get your empty Spring Basket free the first time you play FarmVille after the update, where you will immediately be entered into Placement Mode. You can place the Spring Garden on your farm now, or you can choose to place it in your Gift Box for use later (by switching to the Multi-Tool for instance).

Once the Spring Basket is on the farm you can click on it, then select “Look Inside” to see this window:

The Spring Basket works like many of our other item-gathering style events in FarmVille. You acquire Flowers through various methods, then “Use” them from your Gift Box to place them in your Spring Basket. As you accumulate these Flowers in the Spring Basket you can redeem them for exclusive items.

You can acquire Flowers by:
  • Harvesting your Spring Garden.
  • Requesting Flowers from your neighbors directly (by clicking on the “Ask for More” button).
  • Receive Flowers from a neighbor who uses the Free Gifts page (or click on “Send Flowers”).
  • Purchase 5 Flowers at a time by clicking on the “Buy Flowers” button (for 5 Farm Cash).
  • Click on a Spring Basket-related feed from a neighbor.
  • Harvest a neighbor’s Spring Garden.

Here are the five different types of Flowers (note they all count as the same when you put them in the Spring Garden):

As you put the Flowers in your Spring Basket you’ll see the meter on the left fill up. The physical look of the basket also changes as you fill it with wonderful, blooming Flowers.

You can also click on the “Comparison” tab to compare how many Flowers you’ve accumulated with your neighbors.

To get one of the special exclusive prizes, simply click on the “Redeem”
button next to the prize you want—if you have enough Flowers (the available amount of Flowers that is redeemable is at the top of the window, “You have X available to use!”) you’ll be asked to confirm the purchase.

If you hit “Accept” the prize will be stored in your Gift Box and you can share an extra prize with your friends.

Note: Like the Pot of Gold, there will not be a second page of exclusive prizes added. These six items are all that will be available for this event.
